As President of the Flo Creed-Jacobson Initiative, Alan Jacobson continues Flo’s legacy of community service and mindful leadership. 

Ellen Bruder-Moore Abramowitz, Treasurer of the Initiative, is a seasoned leader in housing, recovery, and community wellness.

A passionate and caring mentor, Ed has spent years supporting men and boys through Boys to Men New England and the Mankind Project. 

Kate taught English and Geography for many years in a middle school in Nigeria. She also has a strong background in marketing and human services, works as a Realtor, and thrives in the mental health field.

Ron has been an educator for over 52 years, including serving as School Superintendent of Bridgewater Public Schools. He currently teaches mindfulness and critical thinking at the university level. 

Ellen spent 43 years in special and humane education, authoring curriculum and training teachers worldwide. She now tutors children with special needs.

Dr. James Bruce is a certified FCJI mindfulness teacher, board member, and public school educator who inspires others through mindfulness, speaking, and community-centered leadership.

Stephanie is a longtime FCJI board member who serves on the event team. She holds degrees in business and special education, is a former Boston Public Schools teacher, a successful business owner, and a proud mother.

A longtime Curry College professor and leadership expert, John has authored four books and served on multiple community boards, including as chair of the Old Colony YMCA Youth Division. 

With 25 years in Boston Public Schools, Addy now serves in an administrative role supporting teacher growth. She is also the founder of Destiny Restored Ministries, driven by a lifelong commitment to serving others.

With 45 years of teaching experience and a Ph.D. in international economics, Professor Mohammad Agwa brings deep expertise in global business and development economics. He is committed to helping students understand complex economic forces through interactive, real-world learning.

Susan E. Casey, MSW, MFA, is an author, intuitive mental health clinician, grief coach, and podcaster with 30+ years of experience supporting teens and adults through loss.
