Professor Mohammad Agwa has 45 years of teaching experience, educating both undergraduate and graduate students in global business, economics, international relations, finance, accounting, management sciences, marketing, and entrepreneurship. He has also conducted extensive research on economic reform programs and development economics, including studies funded by international financial institutions, and published his first book at the Cairo International Book Fair in 1995.
Dr. Agwa earned his Ph.D. in international economics and political science from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and holds multiple master’s degrees in development economics, finance, management sciences, and business administration. He thrives in multidisciplinary settings and enjoys collaborating with people from diverse cultures. His hobbies include traveling, reading, writing, soccer, and staying engaged with global political and economic developments. As an educator, Professor Agwa is committed to helping students understand the economic forces that influence real-world decisions made by business leaders, policymakers, and entrepreneurs. He encourages critical thinking and emphasizes that present decisions can shape future outcomes. Dedicated to student success, he uses a wide range of teaching methods—including models, simulations, case studies, cooperative learning, and hands-on research—to support diverse learning styles and deepen understanding. Professor Agwa fosters an engaging, respectful, and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore ideas, participate in discussion, and apply knowledge. He uses frequent assessment techniques to ensure students are mastering course concepts and believes education should prepare learners for meaningful lives, informed decision-making, and ongoing intellectual growth.
